Our Commitment to Philanthropy...
eWorld Companies, Inc., was founded on the core values and principles of innovation, outstanding customer service, commitment to our workforce and a commitment to our global community. As a young company with a young workforce, eWorld believes there is no excuse to not make a difference now. eWorld believes in corporate responsibility, but wants to go well beyond that, feeling a personal responsibility to help those in need. "We can do that later, when we are bigger, when we have more money, when we have time..." are statements that we do not subscribe to. Whether small or big, we want to make a difference and an impact starting now. Since inception, we have given our time and money to causes we feel strongly about.
Proceeds from the 2010 eWorld Music Awards will be shared with three very worthwhile causes: Keeping Harmony Alive, SFK and GuitarsNotGuns
Keeping Harmony Alive was founded by Kimberly Moore, CEO of the Echelon Club, as a result of school music programs slowly being eliminated in public schools due to state education budget cuts and insufficient funds to buy instruments.
The Echelon Club secures these programs by supplying inner-city schools with sufficient instruments to keep their programs alive, while enriching the lives of thousands of children in the years to come. To donate your instruments, please contact The Echelon Club for a list of instruments needed to help save the music programs, one school at a time!
SFK (Spirituality For Kids) is an international non-profit organization, empowering at-risk children and teens throughout the world.
SFK is one of the few privately funded organizations currently integrated into existing school curricula. As a preventative Social Emotional Learning program, SFK provides children with life skills and universal tools that teach them how to make wise choices. Children learn the lessons of cause and effect, which increases a sense of responsibility for their behavior and a tolerance towards others. SFK works closely with educators, parents and community leaders to ensure that children are empowered to overcome challenges, helping them to reach their full potential.
GuitarsNotGuns was founded to help stop violence in schools and on the streets by providing guitars and lessons to foster kids, at risk youth, and other deserving children in a classroom setting with qualified teachers. No child is turned away for lack of funds. All guitars are provided through the generosity of donations.
